Veonda Gardner

Veonda Gardner is a Real Estate Broker with over 20 years of experience with increasing responsibility in corporate leasing, strategy and project management, property acquisition/divestiture, new construction and property management. She has superior leadership acumen and extensive exposure to countrywide markets. 

Veonda began her career with Altman Management Company II at a time when it was rapidly expanding and she was integral in growing its network. She led the creation of the marketing strategies across the company and successfully navigated a large capital improvement project for the company’s portfolio. Veonda also authored all of the company’s lease administration policies and procedures. 

Veonda’s next challenge was at Trammel Crow Company, where she assumed responsibility for facility management, and later the University of Pennsylvania’s Preservation Fund portfolio. She accepted the position as Regional Property Manager knowing that there was no existing corporate real estate infrastructure. Veonda established the Fund’s structure and created all policies, procedures and strategies for its operation. She successfully launched the lease administration, transaction management and project management functions. 

In addition, Veonda directed the program management of all corporate real estate activities in the United States for Ally Financial, Inc.  Veonda spearheaded the disposition of 200 surplus locations in three packaged sublease deals yielding $2.4M in revenue. During her last 12 months with Ally Financial, Veonda led a branch office consolidation initiative that was critical to the company’s transformation from a traditional “bricks and mortar” lender to an online bank. As a result of her efforts, the domestic portfolio was reduced from 450 branches to 125 operational centers. 

Most recently, Veonda secured a Real Estate Broker’s License in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania whereas she scored 100% on the state examination. Veonda has an active real estate company located in NW Philadelphia specializing in residential & commercial real estate services. 

Veonda attended Temple University where she received a Business Degree and earned an RPA designation. Veonda currently Chairs Philadelphia Metropolitan Board of Realtist and is a member of the National Board of Realtors.
